Multipart3D is a free tool built for the 3D-printing community, with no commercial intent. It is simply something I felt should exist.

It started from my own frustration. Slicers can only manage simple planar cuts, and there was no easy way to actually cut or reshape a model without diving into CAD. Multipart3D lets you split and alter STL and 3MF files directly in your browser.

We also ship a beta of color-splitting 3MF. You can load painted 3MF files from Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, and PrusaSlicer, and the colors come in with the model.

Please be aware this is still an early version. It already covers the cuts I reach for most, and there is plenty more on the way.

Multipart3D is not a slicer, not a generic 3D viewer, and not a full CAD package. It focuses on one job: turning a model into parts that are easier to print, align, and assemble, whether the model is too large for your build volume, needs fewer supports, or should be printed in separate colors or materials.
